Michelle joined the staff of Canby Christian Church in September of 2023 after leading our women’s gatherings for almost three years. She grew up in Southern California and lived there until God called her family to the Pacific Northwest. In August 2017, her husband Aaron became the Lead Pastor of Canby Christian Church and they moved to Canby.

At the age of twenty-one, Michelle became a Christian. She wasn’t raised in a Christian home but was fascinated with religion at a young age. It wasn’t until a religion class in college where she read Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis that she realized there was something unique about the Christian faith and wanted to know more about this God. While seeking, she found herself in a community of believers, all growing and desiring to learn more about God as well. She committed her life to the Lord on July 8, 2007 and never looked back. 

 In that same community of believers, she met Aaron. She had dated many guys before but had never met anyone like Aaron. They had their ups and downs in the dating process but knew they were better together. They married on October 9, 2010.  In 2013 and 2015, they welcomed their daughters Olyvia and Adalyn.

Michelle has filled many roles in ministry over the years, including helping high school students, leading Bible studies, and counseling women. She loves everything about ministry but loves being a part of the discipleship process most. Other believers played an important role in her faith, and she loves to see that continue in others.
